Deaurātus – ( dǝ‐’rä–tәs )
“Deaurātus” is Latin for “Golden”. Two Winemakers form a partnership and make Deaurātus wines. They are both “Golden” having decades of winemaking experience producing wines that have won numerous awards around the world. They are among the most disciplined winemakers and apply that to their craft. The wines of Deaurātus have impeccable quality.

Our Product

Utilizing our years of experience, we traveled all over California, studying the soil, microclimates, and growing grapes, and succeeded in sourcing the best grapes from the best growers. For these reasons, we are committed to labeling our wines as Single Vineyard.

Our Winemaking

The two winemakers managed every detail of the process from selection of vineyards to work with, when to harvest, fermentation, barrel selection and aging, and when to bottle. Our hands and fingers are stained purple when it comes time to make Deaurātus Wines. This is unique since most “winemakers” today are less connected to their vineyards and barrels and are more of a marketing instrument for their wineries.
